• Scanning
Scanmate F10 xyz Flatbed Scanner 
This scanner allows us to scan oversized film & originals  with an optical resolution on all areas of the scanning surface of 5400 spi. We are able to scan any film size & originals with sizes up to 12"—16.5" inches.
 
Imacon Flextight Precision III 
Variable true optical Resolution; Faster, cleaner scans; 4.2 Dmax in a single pass; CCD Single pass (3x8000 pixels); Transparencies: from 35 mm to 13 x 18cm (single original and strips) Reflectives (single sheet) up to A4 oversize; Color (24, 32, 48 bit CMYK), grayscale and line art, TIFF, Batch scanning / Batch image processing.
 
 
 
• Printing
IRIS 3047 & 3024 
We are still utilizing our IRIS printers to create true Giclée prints for our artists and photographers. We at Booksmart Studio, Inc. still believe in the aesthetic and quality of the IRIS printers. We work with many artists still willing to pay the price for the quality of the IRIS printers. If you are one of those artist please inquire about our ability to produce your IRIS Giclée editions. 
 
 
Epson 9600 
We currently print on two Epson 9600 printers with a maximum print width of 43.75" and a maximum length, (depending on your paper) of either 39', 49', or 100'.
 
 
Epson 4000 Series (4000, 4800, & 4880)
We currently have (3) Epson 4000 printers, (3) Epson 4800 printers (1) Epson 4880 with a maximum print with of 16.75" and a maximum length (depending on your paper) of either 39', 49', or 100'. The Epson 4000 printers are used primarily for our book productions because the paper tray and feeding ensures proper registration of the books signatures.
 
 
Epson 3800
We currently own one Epson 3800 primarily utilized for alternative digital printing and our workshops.

Epson 7800
We currently have one Epson 7800 for limited edition prints.

Canon iPF5000
We currently have two iPF5000's for limited edition prints & books

Canon iPF6100
We currently have one iPF6100 for limited edition prints.

The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF9000 takes large format color production to the next level. With the iPF9000, Canon delivers impressive 60" color output, strength in paper handling and speed in output-everything a professional needs to productively and efficiently create enhanced color materials. The iPF9000 printer is designed to fulfill the needs of any digital artist looking to create captivating images from capture to output. The 12-color pigment ink system was designed to expand the spectrum of color for environments from photography to design, to take advantage of within their output. The iPF9000 incorporates the new 12-color pigment ink system with LUCIAâ„¢ inks, and the new L-COA controller, which intelligently processes the data directing the rapid printing process. Combined with Canon's dual print head design and the most ink nozzles per color in the industry (as of May 2006), the L-COA controller helps achieve print speeds of under three minutes for 16.5" x 23.4" (A2) size prints with 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution on a glossy photo paper. The iPF9000 has the tools that address the needs of the Graphic Arts market, focusing on the photographic, fine art, proofing and poster sign markets.
 
HP Z3100 Series 44" 
We currently have (1) HP Z3100 Series 44" printer with a maximum print width of 43.75" and a maximum length, (depending on your paper) of either 39', 49', or 100'.

• Inks
IRIS printers 
We use Pinnacle Gold inks in our IRIS printers to maximize color gamut and archival qualities on all of our substrates (paper).
 
 
Epson printers 
We use both the Epson Ultrachrome color pigment inks & Ultrachrome K3 color pigment inks from Epson and Piezography monochrome pigment inks from Cone Editions. (We run K7 inks on a 9600 & 4000 printer)
